The Power of Influence
It's one of those things that we all have, some of us more than others, but most people don't know how to use it effectively. In this powerful presentation students are challenged to further their sphere of influence by taking inventory of their actions, emotions, and intentions. Through this interactive experience students will discover both the power and responsibility that comes with influence.
The Bottom Line:  How are you changing your world?

   Life Like Legos
Who doesn't like legos? You create something one day and come back the next and make a whole new creation out of the same blocks. Whereas this might be fun with building blocks, it can be quite frustrating when our life is being changed before our eyes and we have no control over it. Not making the team, divorce of parents, death of a friend. These are all changes a teen can't control but can choose how to respond. This workshop addresses hard-hitting issues in students' lives and helps them develop a character that can weather the storms.
The Bottom Line:  What is the foundation your life is built on?

   Re:Focus the Lens
At some point most people feel like they are walking through life wearing foggy glasses or the wrong prescription all together. There is little clarity or direction. A current radio hit asks the question, "This is your life; are you who you want to be?" One of the basic questions a teen wants answered is "What am I living for?" Through this transparent  and honest personal assessment, students will determine their own vision, values, and goals for their school, relationships, and career.
The Bottom Line:  Are you willing to stay the course?

   The Shape of a Leader
There is nothing that unleashes a student leader's self-confidence and potential like discovering their unique "shape." Every leader is made different. This workshop is a journey of self-understanding as students pinpoint their personality type, learning style, and leadership type. As part of the collaborative experience students see how their "shape" adds a significant piece to a group, team, or family.
The Bottom Line:  Who are you when no one is watching?

   The Challenge of Choices
In the popular movie trilogy The Matix, the main character Neo must decide which path he will take in life by choosing a red or blue pill. Life is all about making choices: choices that could have unknown consequences. In this hands-on presentation, students will journal and role play the possibilities of their choices, and learn to discern healthy choices for life. As students become aware of the consequences, they begin to take responsibility for these choices.
The Bottom Line:  Are you willing to live with your choices?

   Living Under Authority
One of the most difficult, and yet important, lessons for student leaders to learn is the balance of power. Regardless of who we are, we are all under authority. My mentor always said, "If you will listen to and obey those who have your best interest at heart, life will always go smoother." When we take a cavalier attitude to our vision, goals, and passions without being willing to listen to those in authority over us, destruction and disappointment is sure to follow. This workshop will clarify for students their own boundaries, and healthy responses to those over them.
The Bottom Line:  Are you willing to listen and learn and then lead?
